Usually between 24 and 72 hours, subject to qualification and the current workload of our data recovery lab.

We offer an urgent inspection and quotation service. It attracts a small urgent inspection or urgent recovery fee. Your job goes to the top of the queue and we work on it as a priority until recovered.

The most efficient way is Australia Post Express Post. If you do not proceed with the recovery, a return shipping fee applies. If you do not want the media returned, we will securely dispose of it free of charge.

Visit the book free inspection page to submit your media details, then include the web ID or a printout. If you cannot fill out the form, include your contact details including email, a brief description of the problem, and a list of the most crucial data on the drive. We will confirm arrival and share your case number.

Yes. After inspection we provide a written fixed price quote. Regardless of time or materials, the quote will not change.

If we cannot recover any data, we do not charge the recovery fee. An industry standard non-refundable mechanical deposit for parts may be required. Policy is subject to qualification.

Hard drives have a mean time between failures. Due to their architecture they will eventually fail. Most failures are due to physical issues or human error.

We send a small text file report, also called a snapshot, listing the files and directories we have accessed or recovered.

We use courier services to deliver media to any Australian address. A signature is required on delivery.

We can upload the data to our FTP server or ship it via TNT worldwide.

Up to approximately 4 GB we offer free DVD media. Above that, charges apply. You can purchase a hard drive from us or supply your own destination media.

We store recovered data on our encrypted SAN. After 14 days we wipe the data to a level that cannot be recovered.

Credit card is preferred, AMEX incurs a 3% surcharge. We also accept EFT and cheque, which require clearance before releasing data.
